Selasie Aformaley Brown, a Computer Scientist and eHealth Specialist, is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. He also serves as a Lecturer in the Information Technology department at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, where he imparts essential computer programming skills to his students, fostering the growth of future tech innovators.

Selasie has made notable contributions to the field of computer science, particularly through his groundbreaking research on software bug prediction models. His work in forecasting blocking bugs in large software systems has been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, highlighting his significant impact on the discipline. His professional background includes a role as Project Coordinator for AGYBO at Google Inc., a web development project in Ghana, underscoring his expertise and influence in the tech industry.

With over fifteen years of experience, Selasie has tackled numerous technology challenges and developed innovative products and services. He has provided IT consultations for a wide array of companies, including CAL Bank, Ghana Tourism Authority, Legal Resources Centre (LRC), VoyagesAfriq, EstarPharma and Medical Aesthetics, Village of God’s Children (VGC), and the City Cancer Challenge Foundation Switzerland. His ability to deliver impactful solutions across various industries speaks to his versatility and expertise.

Beyond his consulting work, Selasie is a passionate advocate for the application of computer technology to enhance business processes and healthcare delivery, particularly in Africa. His commitment to innovation drives him to explore new technological frontiers, always aiming to improve efficiency and outcomes. His dedication to teaching is equally strong, as he mentors students and encourages them to leverage technology for positive societal change.
